13:16
"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have,
for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." - Heb 13:16
The Lord Jesus began His public ministry in Luke 4:18-19 with a declaration of His “mission statement”:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anoinged me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
He then went on to teach many deep spiritual truths using physical means. When the Lord Jesus Christ met with the woman at the well in John 4 the woman was thirsty, and every living creation on earth needs water to live. She came to the well for clean, life-giving water. What she found was Living Water from a Life-giving Savior. Later in John 6, after miraculously feeding the 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish, He stated that He is the bread of life that gives eternal life to all who eat. And then in John 7, during the Sukkot water ceremony Jesus declared that anyone who is thirsty should come to Him and drink. The church today has the opportunity to work like Christ did. Many around the world are suffering due to the global water crisis and more recently the global food crisis. And sadly, extreme poverty, modern day slavery, and human trafficking are rampant around the world.
We at The Well want to do our part by giving a portion of our proceeds to Christian organizations who are working to spread the life-giving Gospel as well as practically care for the hungry, the hurting, and the abused. The scope of the issues may be huge, but we believe that every drop of clean water, every loaf of bread, and every minute used to share the Gospel can be used by the Lord.
“…and if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my discilple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
– Matthew 10:42

The team at neverthirst responsibly uses their resources to bring clean water and Living Water to people groups in Africa and Asia that have been unreached with the Gospel.
So much more than a cold drink…
771 million people without clean water
And 2.3 billion people do not have access to basic sanitation. Deep drilled wells, water filtrations systems, and hygiene education all play a huge part in saving lives and improving health by slowing the spread of disease.
Average of 3.7 miles walked every day for water
Women and children are often in danger of sexual assault, kidnapping, and injury as they make this trip carrying about 40lbs of water every day. Local access to a well drastically reduces the risks and incidents, and would also save about 200 million hours globally that is currently spent fetching contaminated water.
443 million days of school are missed each year
Children are missing school every day because they must fetch water or are fighting preventable waterborne illness. They are losing their opportunity of education and literacy, keeping them trapped in a cycle of poverty. Local access to clean water and safe bathrooms changes the future for an entire generation.
providing a means to clean water has so many life-changing benefits:
International Justice Mission works to fight against human trafficking and slavery. They partner with local justice systems to build safe communities that respond to violence with justice and effectiveness. They also advance rescue missions to rescue victims of slavery, sex trafficking, and violence as well as provide practical help and counseling to restore them back into society.
50 million people held in slavery today
Men, women, children, and somtimes entire families are enslaved working in brick kilns, rice mills, garment factories and other places – some up to 20 hours per day. They are often stuck there to pay off false debts that are, by design, impossible to pay back.
1.7 million children exploited in sex trafficking
Traffickers often take advantage of vulnerable women and trick families to give up young girls to involve them in sex trafficking. Now – in the digital age – the online sexual exploitation of children has increased dramatically.
76,063 people rescued in IJM's first 25 years
…and 7.3 million people who are no longer vulnerable because their local justice systems are now actively protecting them from the everyday violence they once faced.
Compassion International is a Christ-centered, church-driven, and child-focused ministry with 70 years of experience releasing children from poverty. They are notably on the front lines of the current Global Food Crisis, working in some of the communities suffering the most.
149 million children worldwide are malnurished
About 1 out of every 5 children worldwide are chronically malnurished. 3.1 million children die of undernutrition or starvation each year.
70 years since the last food shortage like this
The recent Global Food Crisis has been triggered by several causes including rampid inflation, the COVID pandemic, severe drought in some areas of Africa, and the Russia/Ukraine war as those countries provided 30% of the world’s wheat before the war began.
over 8,000 local partner churches worldwide
Compassion has helped over 2 million babies, children, and young adults (and counting!) through their work with local churches in 27 countries.
